For Real: Learn to play piano in one lesson even if you know nothing about music or feel as though you lack talent. All levels including beginners are welcome, no experience needed, no note reading necessary, materials will be provided.

A great class for beginners (or anyone) who want to learn how to approach putting the paint on the canvas from concept to execution. 

We’ll be covering topics such as composition, hue, saturation, line, value, and color theory through a series of still lifes.

Make Books With Me! Please pick up your DIY kit at Denver Art Society. They are located on the left hand side as you enter by the jewelry display in a white bookshelf. I have lots of options for covers and different book styles- there are examples so you can pick the style you are interested in. There are precut materials and tools to keep so you can keep making books!

Jewelry Making

You will learn how to work with tools and use basic beading supplies for beginner level joining techniques. Gain appreciation for color, texture, and shapes of repurposed vintage beads and findings as you design and create unique handmade jewelry. You will have a choice to work on completing a necklace or a pair of earrings during class.

 

Supplies are included, you're also welcome to bring your own vintage jewelry/beads to use and/or donate if you wish.
