At the end of September, Denver Art Society held a fundraising event with live music and live painting! Artists created a one-of-a-kind piece of work in response to the music and are proud to have raised $300 at the event.
We purchased a gift card to one of our Art District on Santa Fe neighbors, ReCreative Denver, and donated it to the La Alma Recreation Center for the staff to get art supplies for the kids at the center.
We are immensely grateful for the work that Shauna and the staff at the rec center provide to the community and would like to extend special thanks to our members who organized the event, Dechteres Lazidis and Kimberly Guerrero along with the other DAS members who helped make the event a success!
