It is a place that fills my soul with hope every time I walk in the doors. This establishment single-handedly convinced me I was worthy to have my art seen in public. The support I've received from other members has been so beautiful and encouraging. DAS makes me want to be a better artist so that I can contribute back some value into the lives of the other members. I felt isolated from the art world before DAS; unable to get my hat in the ring because of my lack of a formal art education. DAS gave me the possibilities and opportunities I need to gain confidence in my work. Each and every artist is so beneficial to the greater good, and DAS is the perfect roadway for an inclusive art world."
